Description: This course introduces students to the study of geography. Geographers use themes and concepts to study the world. Students will use these themes and concepts as they learn about the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Russia and the European republics. Assignments will help students develop a greater awareness of how interdependent we are with people throughout the world.
Special Instructions: Lesson assignments need to be created in Microsoft Word or another word processor that saves files as .doc (Word 97–2003 document) or .rtf (Rich Text format). The same textbook is also used for the second half unit
