Description: The principal goal of this course is to introduce students to computer programming using the Visual Basic 2008 programming language. Using Visual Basic, the programmer can develop computer applications that run in Windows. The programmer can easily create command buttons, check boxes, option buttons, text boxes, and more. Because of its ease in creating windowed forms, the student's interest will be spurred, and he or she will develop a solid foundation for future programming courses.
Special Instructions: Visual Basic is a Windows programming language, so you must have access to a computer that is running a version of Microsoft Windows.
