Description: This course introduces students to the basics of Latin vocabulary and grammar and discusses aspects of the history and culture of ancient Romans. It is designed to help students understand English better and make it easier for them to learn other foreign languages that are descended from Latin. NOTE: The"Cassette for Oxford Latin Course" listed below is optional for this course.   

Gifted: This course is academically challenging. Any student who has an interest in the subject and has met the prerequisites (if any), may enroll.
