Prerequisites: Successful completion of French I or the equivalent. To be ready for the first half unit of French II, students should have the prerequisite knowledge.
Description: Students will continue to learn basic French as it is typically taught to second-year French students. Activities will provide practice in reading, writing, listening, and speaking French. Students will also learn more about the culture, and history of the Francophone world. Lesson topics include weather, leisure, health, and driving.
Special Instructions: Lesson assignments need to be created in Microsoft Word or another word processor that saves files as .doc (Word 97–2003 document) or .rtf (Rich Text format). To complete assignments, your computer must also have the capability to record sound from a microphone (listed as optional course material below).
Materials Note: The StudentWorks Plus CD contains the Bon Voyage Level 1 textbook and the Workbook and Audio Activities. Use this option if you prefer to have the textbook materials on CD. The same textbooks are also used for the second half unit
