Description: In this course, students will find the area between curves and the volume of geometric solids that do not have flat surfaces. Integration will be used to find the center of a mass, and to find the pressure and force produced by a fluid. Students will learn to solve trigonometric integrals involving powers and to use a tabular method to perform integration by parts. Additional course concepts include L’Hôpital’s Rule, sequences, and various types of series.
Special Instructions: Materials Note: Students will need access to a graphing calculator (e.g. TI-83+ or newer). The same textbook is also used for the fall semester.
