About MU High School
Mission
The mission of the University of Missouri High School is to provide distance learning courses, through a variety of delivery methods, that will complement traditional high school curricula and provide an accredited online high school diploma program for independent learners of all ages seeking an alternative to traditional high school attendance.
Accreditation
The University of Missouri High School is accredited by AdvancED
and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI).
Transfer Credit
Students take our high school courses and apply credit earned to graduate from their own school, or to achieve their personal academic goals.
MU High School offers flexible options to meet your students needs — with choices in the self-paced, independent study format or semester learning.
Online Diploma
MU High provides an online high school diploma for adults and other students with a need for an alternative accredited diploma to traditional high school attendance.
Dual Enrollment
Eligible students can earn both high school and university credit at the same time.
Dual enrollment courses require students to pay full University of Missouri tuition, including nonresident fees for those students not residing in Missouri. Nonresident fees apply to college level courses only. For details on current college level course fees, please see the MU Office of the Cashiers page.
Elementary and Middle School
Our elementary and middle school courses can be used to supplement the curriculum of private, public, or charter schools or for enrichment purposes, remediation, or instead of summer school.
